Claims PA received a check from my insurance company, or I sent my check images to
my Public Adjuster. What happens next?
- Claims PA’s financial department will review your file to make sure that your check matches the insurance company’s settlement statement. Please forward any documentation you may have received to us at claims@claimspa.com to expedite processing.
- If we have proper documentation, we will begin processing through iink, our check escrow service. You will be receiving an email from Claims PA detailing the check amount and any related fees, which will also include important next steps. You will receive a separate email request to register with IINK, if you do not already have an account.

I registered for an IINK account. How do I add my bank account information?

- After registering for an IINK account, you should receive an email from the Plaid bank verification service. You will have 2 options for verifying your bank account to allow the ACH transfer of your check funds, logging to your bank account via Plaid or requesting micro-deposits for manual verification. You should have received a brochure with your invoice email that provides more information on this process.

I added a bank account previously. Can I change the bank account to which my funds
will be transferred?
- If the check is still in clearing period and funds have not been transferred, yes, the property owner may set a new bank account as Default and should receive the funds there after the check clears and the funds are transferred.
- If the check has cleared and the transaction to bank account has started, then it's not possible as the funds are in transit to the original bank account.
- If after the check cleared there was no bank account, the added bank account wasn't verified, or the funds couldn't get transferred and stayed in the Wallet, then yes, the you can add and verify a new bank account, but you will have to withdraw the funds manually from your wallet click here to learn: How to Transfer Money Out of your IINK Wallet
My check has cleared but the funds are not in my bank account. How do I get them?

How long will check processing take?
- If NO mortgage company is listed on your check, the process will take between 5-10 business days depending on how quickly you complete registration and bank verification.
- If your mortgage company(s) is included on the check, it will take up to 30 days or more to complete the process. IINK will handle all of the paperwork, Providing the shipping labels to Claims PA or you to ship the check, and communication with the mortgage company required to secure the their endorsement of the check and disbursement of the funds. If the claims is monitored, they will hold the funds until repairs are completed and will disburse funds by issuing draw checks at various points in the repair process based on the percentage of repair completion determined by mortgage company representative’s scheduled inspections.
How does the mortgage company determine monitoring status?
- Monitored status is usually determined by the total Replacement Cost Value (RCV) of the claim, which is listed on your insurance company’s estimate or settlement report. If the total RCV is above $40,000, it will likely be a monitored claim. Other factors may be considered to determine monitored status, such as the outstanding loan balance, delinquent payments, or prior mortgage relief.
